It was a fine sunny day. In the east, the sun was shining clearly. In the, there were some dark clouds.

As a girl, we did not pay any attention, since it was a holiday for us, I thought of going for a picnic with some of my friends.

As arranged we started going to the Gampaha Botanical garden on our bikes. When we were passing the Gampaha railway station. winds began to blow.

Suddenly clouds gathered above our heads and started thundering fiercely. It was like the roar of the pack of lions

Both sides of the road were paddy fields. Not a single house appeared within our eyesight. Drops of water began to fall. Lightning appeared from all directions. Within a few seconds, rain began to pour cats and dogs. We were completely soaked in the rain. So was our food.

We were all unhappy. I thought we must not curse nature but, must try to face the circumstances and enjoy it. According to my suggestion and friend agreed to start bathing, playing and dancing in the rain. While people were running for shelter and we enjoyed the time. We jumped to the uncultivated fields and played football while some played 'chakgudu'.we saw umbrellas were flying in the winds and their owners were running after them. We hooted at them while playing. That was the most memorable but unexpected picnic in my life .

SIGIRIYA

 

Sigiriya is 40 miles away from Anuradhapura. It is like a cultural museum, famous all over the world Sigiriya rock appears like a lion when you look from far away. This Sigiriya fortress was built by King Kashyapa who lived there. Kashyapa killed his father to get the kingship. His brother Mugalan collected an army against him. To escape from his brother, Kashyapa built this Fortress. 

 Even today you can see the ruins of the palace built on Sigiriya. How the building materials were taken to the top of the rock is still unknown. lt was a marvellous deed as even modern machinery cannot do it. 

It is considered one of the wonders of the world. King Kashyapa was a man of fine art. You can see it from the Sigiriya frescoes, second only to Ajantha in This was painted in 8th centre and still in good form. Females depicted there are extremely beautiful The graffiti written later on the mirror wall by visitors are beautifully  The mirror wall has been made with polished this was built to see the invading armies. The pond on the top of the rock is another wonderful thing.   even today foreigners are getting astonished when they see these miracles. if you go to the top of Sigra you.

can see that you are on top of the world. you can see miles away from there.

 

Blueberry is my favourite fruit.  

It's like my life.

I like to eat blueberry ice cream with chocolate ice cream. All the ice cream makers in our village  know that I come to eat blueberry ice cream. Sometimes the shop owner puts all three blueberry ice cream, fruit&nut ice cream and chocolate ice cream together as I like. 

 I like to drink dragonfruit but blueberry  milkshake is my favorite drink , 

If I make a cake at home it is also purple, but I don't like to wear purple .

 I like to eat blueberry cheesecake,

Blueberry Pie  Pudding, Blueberry cupcakes, Blueberry pancakes ..... is it purple i like to eat it 😌 

GALLE FACE

 

In my life,  The place I like to go to see Galle face . If I am free  I like to go to the beach. When I see the sea I feel great freedom.
I get on the bus from Matugama and I am going to see the galleface Sea. 

when I am in a trouble,  I like to go to the beach but without anyone. However, I'm not allowed to leave the house alone but sometimes I go to the beach with my friends and sit on the side while they playing 
when I  look at the sunset over the sea is indescribable

I like to see the sunset with my boyfriend
Sometimes he doesn't like to take me with him because he knows that going with me to the Galle face would be detrimental to his and his purse.
One of the reasons is that I like to eat 'isso wade' but if  I want to go to the beach  at 12:00 a.m or  9 p.m he takes me

If someone asks me where I would like to go and what I like most, I will tell them to take me to Galleface  Beach

FATHER IS MY EVERYTHING

Life is unthinkable. When I talk about my life, my Mom and Dad gave me a beautiful life. Mom was the one who gave me my life and she taught me the good and the bad but Dad was the hero of my life.

My father did not show us how much that he loved us but he kept all our sorrows in his mind. I have no words to say about my father. From the time I can remember, he was with me every time.

 I can't imagine what a wonderful man he is My father is very innocent and kind. My mother is very lucky to have someone like my father and to be a child of such a mother and father. My dad's life is my mom my sister and me.

 Dad is the one who helps us to stay together as a family, no matter what the problems maybe I have never seen such an innocent man as my father anywhere in the world. If I have a soul for the rest of my life I wish him to be my father. I love my dad very well

Food is very important to our lives. 

Everything has a limit so there must be some control over food. 

1.Carbohydrate

These are five Main Nutrients.

A healthy diet is a practice that promotes good health. 

 When we work in the office we can save our time getting fast food. No matter how much time is left, eating fast food will ruin our future best time. Eating fast food has the potential to cause many non-communicable. 

Many people are aware of the fact that fast food or junk food is bad for the body. when I am at the restaurant I feel to eat a burger  At that time I wonder what happens if I eat something like this from time to time. “I always eat nutritious food". Because of that our Narrows blood vessels, You probably know that when you get used to these high-fat artificial diets you get diseases like cholesterol. And your blood pressure is going up. You should th1.ink twice about it. And fast food can lose of your mental concentration also You may even lose your good looks. 

 Whenever possible you should try to eat at home so that we can protect ourselves from developing diseases.

Everyone who reads this knows that we came from a womb. It hurts so much to give the baby out, but the woman is so happy when the baby comes out. That is the woman. If a baby comes out of the mother's womb, she has learned to deal with grief.

Did you know why did I say that?

Now when we are a girl we have to wear earrings so we have to pierce our ears when we are little.

 when the baby girl grows bigger and bigger she can't go where she wanted, she can't do what she wants, she can't associate with people she like When she is younger monthly she has to face her periods but she endures it. That is women

 

A low percentage of women is educated about something they like. but Some people get married. After marriage, only a very limited number of people can do what they want But many women suffer under the pressure of their husbands.  Some women  are persecuted by their husbands However, only a handful of women endure these things, but some women think of their children and subdue their lives I'm not saying that every woman in this world is right. But some women in the situation  because of their family or husband 

Did you forget that you're a coming for your mother's womb ,so  please don't abuse women you should look at herself as her sister and give it to her place and respect.

E- LEARNING

Because of the corona situation, we all do all the work online. All around the world, educational institutions are looking toward online learning platforms to continue with the process of educating students today, Digital learning has emerged as a necessary resource for students and schools all over the world. For many educational institutes, this is an entirely new way of education that they have had to adopt.  

Online learning platforms have a lot of advantages. Online learning has several tools such as videos, PDFs, podcasts, and teachers can use all these tools as part of their lesson plans. By extending the lesson plan beyond traditional textbooks to include online resources, teachers can become more efficient educators. We don't have to sit in front of the class, that saves us time from going to school Additionally, online lectures can be recorded, archived, and shared for future reference. This allows students to access the learning material at a time of their comfort. Since online classes can be taken from home or location of choice, there are fewer chances of students missing out on lessons.

 

However online learning platforms have disadvantages also .people  feel a little uncomfortable because they are set in front of the screen. Some people have connection issues. Sometimes if they have an exam they can't do it because of the connection issues 

However, e-learning studies have a lot Of advantages and disadvantages but in this pandemic e-learning is the best 

Value of reading books

"People are complete by reading books"

 It gives value to life, we must use books because of that we can get a lot of valuable things by reading books.

If I have a free time I like to read books,    because books like a true friend.

 If you don’t have much time to read, you can try book reviews using the Blinkist App or listen to Audiobooks using Audible. 

 We can read a book for get gain wisdom.   Books can help us learn and understand things that cannot be understand we can Strength our brain and improve brain connectivity. We can Increase our empathy. and also we can Build vocabulary by reading books. We can reduce stress and alleviates depression. If we are reading books we can lower blood pressure and heart rate and we can contribute to a longer life .The benefits of reading range from improving mental health, to improving physical health.

We can get fantastic benefits from reading books. However, we can get a lot of good things from reading books.

In Sri Lanka, we have a lot of festivals but Sinhala and Tamil New year is my favourite festival in April .

The Sinhala and Tamil New year is celebrated on April 13, 14 

This is a special time in Sri Lanka . Full of flowers , Homes are freshly painted and it is a time for festivities .In this month erabadu flowers will bloom and make the environment beautiful. The cuckoo bird heralds the coming of the new year Everyone knows that there is a time.

There is a nothing work time (Nonagathaya)There is a belief that one should focus on religious matters without doing any work. So in this time, people are going to temples to worship God After that people offer to cook for the auspicious time and eat for the auspicious time the food is eaten at the auspicious time. 

The head of the family is started by eating. We can see a lot of special sweets Kawum, Kokis, Aluwa, Athira, Milkrice, Mung Bean Kawum, Asmi, Some of the there.

Lot of traditional Games are playing in this festival Kotta pora, Onchili pedeema, Raban geseema, Kana Mutti bindeem, Eye on the elephant, Coconut grating competition, Bun-eating competition, Lime-on-spoon race, Kamba adeema and Lioedemagaha nageemahahaimbing the greased pole)

Aluth Aurudu is an important national holiday for both the cultures of the Sinhalese people and the Tamil people of Sri Lanka However, we have not celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year for two years so I hope we will be able to celebrate the beautiful New Year next year.

when I was a kid I had a lot of friends but now they left.No matter what life throws at me, I have only one friend who is close to me in all my sorrows and joys. she is Amanda Dewni Perera.

  We both met when we were grade10 . we have a lot of beautiful memories of that time. In our school had there desks in a row.  The smartest child in the middle of those three desks. Me and Amanda were on either side  in the middle child went to a child who  could learn because she knew she couldn't learn when she was in the middle of a crazy couple like us

After a while we joined another gang , which means we are in grade 11, that gang was great and we were with them until we finished advanced level studies but now we can't even find them. That's how our school days were. During that time we had a good fights and crazy things . 

However we both of them are in good condition now. The school teachers thought that we would fail the GCE Ordinary Level but now I am entering the university. amenda got good results for 

A / L and now she is studying.

There is a lot of things to say about her. She is now 21 years old she lives in panadura.  She was the best friend I had ever had .she is very innocent kind open-minded emotional sensitive girl  if I am in a trouble she always help me . she 's favourite colour is purple  i also like purple she like to eat chocolate. she likes to travel. If she have a free time she like to read books and watching movies  Amanda's mother is her world, she loves her mother. However I can't find a girl like you.

What is social media? Social media is one of the most widely used mediums today. OUR STORY

My boyfriend and I fell in love 4 years ago. One day we were planning to go on a picnic with the church friends but I was not allowed to go on that trip. I was very upset. But he went on that trip. They went to see Nuwaraeliya. He took a video call to me. He told me the details of where they had gone. 

Then we started texting and calling frequently and then he told me he was in love with me. And I was scared. I did not answer him directly. I told my brother and sister and they were met and gave us a solution. They said ' if you love my sister you have to wait patiently because she has to sit down for an advanced level exam. He waited. 

So now we are in love and we are getting married very soon. By the way, I believe he is the best person in the world. He is a very innocent, honest, open-minded, sensitive, emotional, intelligent and interesting person. And he has a nice personality. I love that personality lot. 

He has a big family. He lives with his sister, brother, mother and father. His family is very good as my boyfriend. I love him very much.

 He likes to travel around the world like me. If we have free time we are like to travel. But these days we can't travel because of the covid situation. However, he likes to surprise me every time. 

 Every day when he comes to our place he brings roses to surprise me and he brings something as a gift. If he can't bring something, he will take me out and buy me something to eat that's how he surprised me. If I receive a soul in new life, I wish him to be my brother or my partner again. I love him a lot.

THE SHADOW OF MY LIFE

My mother is the most valuable gift that I have ever received😚. I have a lot of people in my life but she is my everything. My dearest mother made our lives go on nicely😌.

when I am in the dark she is the sun of my life.

If am in a trouble she always helps me and she tries to protect me very well. My adorable mother you are mine ever and I am the greatest daughter to accept my mother💝.

My mother helped me a lot. When I was learning, she taught me the good and the bad things. My mother made for me yummy dishes😋, which I like. 

When I was sick my mom and dad were around me every time. I remember when I got dengue fever I  Couldn't eat anything . l have been in bed for about seven days with saline water😩. During those days, my mother also did not eat😟.I do not understand how much she loves me. I love her very much😘.
